We are proud to announce that we have successfully advised Clarus Corp on the divestment of its subsidiary, PIEPS GmbH, to an internationally active private investment firm. Through this new partnership, the companies involved are well positioned to develop new products, drive additional revenue streams, and enhance overall profitability.

The Partners

PIEPS GmbH, the global technology leader in snow-safety equipment that develops avalanche transceivers, backpacks, probes, shovels, and other equipment, has been acquired by an internationally active private investment firm. The strategic decision to divest PIEPS aligns with Clarus Corp’s prioritization of simplifying the business and rationalizing its product categories.

Following a structured sales process, the private investment firm, who wishes to remain anonymous, established itself as the ideal partner for PIEPS, as it aims to expand its global sales channels, strengthen brand reach, and ensure continuity and stability for the company’s employees.
