The Partners
PIEPS GmbH, the global technology leader in snow-safety equipment that develops avalanche transceivers, backpacks, probes, shovels, and other equipment, has been acquired by an internationally active private investment firm. The strategic decision to divest PIEPS aligns with Clarus Corp’s prioritization of simplifying the business and rationalizing its product categories.
Following a structured sales process, the private investment firm, who wishes to remain anonymous, established itself as the ideal partner for PIEPS, as it aims to expand its global sales channels, strengthen brand reach, and ensure continuity and stability for the company’s employees.
Our Contribution
As Clarus Corp’s exclusive M&A advisor, Sazun delivered a well-prepared structured sales process. After comprehensive discussions with interested parties, we ensured that the process was completed in a prompt, eQicient manner, whilst maintaining a high transaction security throughout the entire process. By combining PIEPS' strong track record with the human aspects across all three parties – Clarus Corp, PIEPS, and the buyer - we helped create a dynamic that all sides agreed represented the best path forward.
